How much of each yarn do I need to make this sonic

Hi Joseph- thanks for your interest. You’ll need less than a skein for all the colours excpet blue. It’s hard for me to measure exactly because I often use leftover yarn. You will want 2-3 skeins of blue, depending on thickness. I always overbuy and then use my left overs in other projects. Hope this helps a bit.

Having trouble understanding the heel flap section

Hi Laurel- the heel flap is hard to explain lol. Basically you are creating a rectangle, which is the back of the show. When your rectangle is done, it folds up to the top of the shoe. You will want the height to match. I dont know if that helps at all

How tall is this sonic. I’m looking for a pattern big enough for a child to hold and snuggle with when sleeping.

This is definitely a snuggable size, but to make it bigger select thicker yarn and a bigger hook 🙂
